Culture Connect in Rwanda is a visionary project designed to foster a vibrant, sustainable cultural ecosystem in Rwanda. The project will establish comprehensive programs that empower communities, create sustainable economic opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners, and utilize culture as a powerful tool for unity and reconciliation.

The Challenge We Address

Despite its rich cultural tapestry and governmental support for the creative industries, Rwanda's cultural sector faces challenges such as inadequate planning mechanisms in cultural heritage tourism, cultural barriers to digital innovation, and the ongoing need for community reconciliation. Culture Connect aims to address these gaps by providing a structured framework for cultural development, moving beyond isolated initiatives to create a cohesive, nationwide movement that ensures the vitality of traditional practices, fosters contemporary artistic expression, and leverages culture for sustainable development.

Africa possesses an incredibly diverse and profound cultural heritage, but many traditions face extinction due to globalization, modernization, and inadequate preservation efforts. From traditional languages and arts to music and practices, we're losing invaluable cultural assets.
